Berry Street Education Model
Since 2019, HPPS staff have been implementing the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) strategies in our school. The BSEM increases the engagement of students with complex, unmet learning needs and successfully improves all students’ self-regulation, relationships, wellbeing, growth and academic achievement with pedagogical strategies that incorporate trauma-informed teaching, positive education, and wellbeing practices.
