Wellbeing and Health In-reach Nurse (WHIN)

Nikki is a Clinical Nurse Specialist who will be working across our school, with our learning and support team, to help connect students and families with health and community services. She is here to help support students and families in addressing health needs, coordinate appropriate assessments and assist with referrals to any needed medical or social services.

This isn’t a First Aid position. Nikki is employed by NSW Health and is one of around 100 similar roles which are being introduced in schools across NSW in a partnership between NSW Health and the Department of Education

If you wish to get in contact with Nikki, please speak with the office.

Speech Therapist

Our school speech therapist works every Friday. If there are concerns about a student’s speech and/or ability to understand information a speech referral is filled out and our speech therapist conducts some assessments. If the assessments identify an area of need, the student is placed into a support group.
